Our review
The Essay.Expert website is nicely appointed with links at the top of the page to pages that explain how the writing service operates. We are not certain how long the company has been in business, but were able to find customer reviews on the web that go back three years. We are committed to using the same factors to evaluate all websites and have done so with this review – the information we find on the Essay Expert website, company policies, testimonials, samples of writing and blog, if available, and our own experiences with the customer support department and through an order of a research paper. Our summary follows.
Provided Services
EssayExpert provides products and services to undergrad and grad students only. In addition to the typical essays, papers, projects, reviews, and such, it also offers thesis and dissertation writers, admissions and personal statement essays, help with STEM coursework, editing and proofreading, and multiple-choice test-taking. College students can order virtually any type of product or service they need.
Product/Writer Quality
Reading through the Essay Expert website, we were impressed with the quality of writing. Sentence structure and grammar/composition were at a level we would expect from a professional writing service. We expected that customer feedback would be good. The testimonials on the site were just that. As we found and read reviews from elsewhere on the web, however, we got a different picture. There were a number of complaints about writing quality, poor resources, and difficulty getting revisions accomplished.
The research paper we received was a disappointment too. While the topic was rather basic, the writer did not have a thesis statement, and the flow was disjointed and somewhat illogical. We also found a number of grammatical errors. We would not have submitted the piece to a professor for a grade.
While Essay Expert is not a fraud or scam, our review of customer feedback and our own experience is certainly not stellar.
Customer Support
The site states that the customer support team is available 24-hours a day via live chat, telephone or email. We did contact the department on three occasions. We wanted to “test” the knowledge and ability to answer detailed questions about products and services. The live chat feature is occasionally silent, prompting a visitor to leave a message. We were able to speak with a live person via telephone, but it was an ESL individual who was very hard to understand. Still, we were able to ask some questions about dissertation writing and were assured that we could get either a thesis or dissertation within 7 days – this does not engender a great deal of confidence in Essay.Expert, and we wonder how this is possible, considering the amount of research (even original research studies) that is often a part of these works.
Prices and Discounts
EssayExpert prices begin a $10/page with a 14-day deadline and move up to a high of $56/page for urgent requests. Admissions essays are quite pricey. We could find no promo code for newcomer discounts, but were able to find a discount plan based upon total number of pages ordered. These ranged from 5 – 10%, and we were told that we would have to contact customer support to receive coupon codes for these discounts.
Additional Benefits
Essay Expert offers the normal free pages (title, bibliography, outline), a plagiarism scan, revisions and formatting. We wonder why a plagiarism report is offered on another page as a fee-paid benefit, along with VIP customer service and the option to pay more for a top writer.
Conclusion
Essay Expert does not hold a BBB membership. As well, as we looked at pros & cons, we can list the website content as a pro, but not much else. Quality is just not that great. Overall, we are giving a rating of “Fair” to this writing service.

waste of moneyWorst essay expert you can possibly find online! Missed deadlineMissed deadline, unprofessional support, always busy and not-available writer together with high price – all of these makes EssayExpert one of the worst services I`ve ever used. Nevertheless the quality of my paper wasn`t that bad – I can`t advise this service to any of my friends. I strongly recommend staying aware of them.Although they promise a unique loyalty program and claim to be experts of their field – I personally say that it isn`t true. The total maximum that you can have with them is a terribly written paper that looks more like a sample and does not have the requested elements in the full amount.
